Upgrading to WordPress 2.5
We have been delaying the upgrade from WordPress 2.3.3 to 2.5 for a week or so to see how it’s played out in the blogosphere and to test it out on a few other websites. So far, the new admin area upgrades are very welcomed. I’ve been monitoring the 2.5 plugin compatibility list waiting for a few plugins we run to appear on the “compatible” side, but there’s still a few that haven’t. I think we’re going to go ahead with the upgrade and see how we fair.
So, plugins deactiving, files uploading, here we go…
UPDATE Upgrade went well. Looks like there’s a few plugin fixes needed…
UPDATE Seems like the two plugins I tried to use for getting recent comments aren’t working correctly. It’s not important enough of a feature for me to debug myself, so I’ll just disable and keep an eye out if they update.
