Photoshop Elements Techniques Announces 2006 Scrappy Awards Winners

Photoshop Elements Techniques newsletter and website announces 11 winners of its 2006 Scrappy Awards, the first Photoshop Elements design competition for digital scrapbookers.

Judges selected winners in 10 subject categories, and picked a Best of Show award for the grand prize. More than $10,000 in prizes will be distributed to the winners, whose designs were selected from 758 total entries.

Winning designs are:

Family: Stacy Carlson - Lincoln, Nebraska
Graduation: Jennifer Caputo - Schaumburg, Illinois
Holiday: Courtney Ferguson - Forrestfield, Western Australia
Love/Romance: Tricia Kennedy - Trabuco Canyon, California
Military/Patriotic: Pauline Washburn - Beaverton, Ontario
Pet: Elizabeth Royalty - Worchester, Massachusetts
Sports: Candi Gershon - Fishers, Indiana
Travel: Anne Bury - Calgary, Alberta
Wedding: Sharon Denney - Kansas City, Missouri

Industry sponsors contributed prizes for the contest, including Adobe Systems Incorporated, B&H Photo Video, Auto FX Software, ColorVision, Wacom, iStockphoto, PhotoSpin, KW Media Group, Peachpit Press, Linda Sattgast, and Lynette Kent.

The winning entries, all created using Adobe Photoshop Elements software, will be featured in an upcoming issue of the newsletter, and on its website, www.photoshopelementsuser.com.
