JupiterMedia Announces Acquisition of GoodShoot for Its JupiterImages Division
Jupitermedia Corporation (Nasdaq: JUPM) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary JupiterImages Corporation has acquired all of the shares of Goodshoot S.A.S (www.goodshoot.com), for approximately U.S. $9.8 million in cash. Goodshoot, based in Annecy-le-Vieux, France, is a leading resource for royalty free digital images for business users and creative professionals.
“The acquisition of Goodshoot’s images and business operations solidifies JupiterImage’s position as one of the largest organizations in the business of selling royalty free digital images,” stated Alan M. We are pleased that Philippe Bigard, founder of Goodshoot, will continue to provide world-class imagery for Goodshoot and JupiterImages. We anticipate significant marketing and business synergies between Goodshoot and our JupiterImages division as well as our Jupitermedia properties.
